History of Dunfermline
Dunfermline is centrally located situated minutes from the M90 motorway, approximately 30 minutes from Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling, Perth and Kirkcaldy.
Local attractions include Scotland's second most popular tourist attraction - Deep Sea World which is situated close to the famous Forth Road and Rail Bridges.
Dunfermline's own favourite's include Andrew Carnegies birthplace, Abbott House and Dunfermline Abbey the burial site of king Robert the Bruce.

From the South A(M)90, Forth Road Bridge
Forth Road Bridge, exit M90 junction 2, onto the A823. Turn right at roundabout, follow signs for "Dunfermline Town Centre". Continue on A823 through two roundabouts. Turn right at traffic lights onto the B916, Aberdour Road (pub on corner, "Cottage Inn"). We are situated ½ mile on the right.
From the North M90 and Kirkcaldy A92
Motorway junction 3, follow signs for "Dunfermline Town Centre." Continue through 3 roundabouts, passing Lauder college and Asda. Turn left at traffic lights onto Linburn Road. Continue over 2 roundabouts and at 3rd roundabout turn right along Aberdour Road. We are situated 1 mile on left.
From the West Kincardine Bridge A994
From Kincardine Bridge follow signs to Dunfermline. Continue through town centre to first roundabout (Sinclair Gardens). Take the third exit down St. Margaret's Drive, to a roundabout, take second exit, Bothwell Street (Church on left). Through another roundabout, continue on Hospital Hill then turn left onto Aberdour Road B916, (pub on corner, "Cottage Inn"). We are situated ½ mile on the right.
