Pitbauchlie House Hotel is well established as a premier wedding venue in Dunfermline. Offering a full range of facilities, from holding your wedding in the hotel to our very popular Honeymoon suite.

The Elgin Suite can cater for up to 120 persons for the wedding meal and a maximum of 150 persons for the evening reception. The Elgin Suite can also be sectioned into the Carnegie and Scott rooms for smaller intimate wedding parties.

The hotel is situated in 3 acres of wooded grounds including elegantly designed landscaped gardens with ornamental pond and sun dial, offering excellent opportunities for wedding photographs.

Bar 47, your reception area on arrival, overlooks the gardens and has direct access onto the lawns

The Wedding Ceremony

You may wish to make arrangements to have your Wedding Ceremony in the Hotel. We are happy to advise with these arrangements, but you are reminded that you need a Minister, Organist, Ushers and Order of Service Cards.

The Pitbauchlie House Hotel is licensed for Civil and Religious services.

Wedding Reservation Guidelines

Provisional bookings for a wedding are held for up to 3 weeks, we reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings. A *non refundable, non-transferable deposit of £300 is required to confirm your booking, this will be held as a first deposit and will be deducted from your final bill.

50% of the estimated balance of your wedding should be settled 6 weeks prior to your reception.

The final balance is due 2 weeks prior to your reception.

7 days prior to your function please advise us of the final numbers and completed table plan. The minimum numbers charged for are the total numbers given 3 days prior to your wedding. Adjustments will be incorporated in the invoice for the drinks and wine account which is payable on departure the following day.

* Cancellations will result in  the forfeiture of the deposit.

Accommodation Details

The Pitbauchlie House  has 50 en-suite bedrooms, boasting a selection of room types ranging from Standard to Executive and our popular Deluxe bedrooms with a King Size bed. 

All guest rooms are individually decorated and furnished with luxury and style. The Pitbauchlie House Hotel has achieved the the Scottish Tourist Board award for guests with mobility difficulties.

The Bride may wish to book rooms for their guests, please contact Margaret Oliver.

We strongly recommend booking accommodation early as the hotel is very popular.
