COVID-19 Guidance

COVID-19   Changes you will see at Pitbauchlie House Hotel

It`s finally time to welcome you back

As we re-open, the health and safety of guests and team members will remain our paramount concern in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During closure we have been working away at risk assessments and devising and adjusting all our new work protocols.

As a result there will be a slightly different guest experience, but the same friendly atmosphere.

We have outlined below some of the measures we are taking to adjust our operations and protect the health of our guests and team members.

Please stay safe, we look forward to seeing you soon.

The Solley Family

Before you arrive

Pre-arrival booking procedures are in place and online check-in will ensure the physical check-in process will be as quick and seamless as possible.

If you have any concern that you have the virus, please stay at home.  We will happily re-schedule your visit.

Check-in

Perspex screens are in place to protect staff and guests where direct face to face interaction is impossible.

All keys will be sanitised before we pass them to you.

We have made the journey to your room “touch free” by fitting door stops linked to the fire alarm system.

Accommodation

Individual bedroom occupancy will be capped at 4 people, with a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children from a single household.

Regrettably, we are now unable to service your room during your stay. If you require fresh linen and towels, please contact reception who will supply you with a “Self-Service Bag”.

Should you wish your room to be fully serviced; this will necessitate a change of room. You would be responsible for moving your belongings.

Robust cleaning and sanitising protocols

Cleanliness and hygiene has always been a priority in our hotels. Front of House and Bedrooms have all been Electro statically sprayed with disinfectant.

Working with our cleaning suppliers we are focusing on High Impact Touch points and we will ensure that those areas are cleaned on a frequent basis with an approved virocidal cleaning agent.

We have also  installed sanitising stations throughout the hotel.

Advanced Staff Training

As a condition of returning to work, team members will be required to complete an e-learning course on the Prevention and Control of Infection in the Workplace.  They will be required to confirm that they do not have any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in contact with anyone suffering from it.

Appropriate PPE including face masks, visors and disposable gloves will be worn by team members based on their roles and responsibilities and in adherence of Government regulations and guidance.

Training of team members will be on-going and they will practice social distancing between themselves and guests.
