Please be advised that, due to the Covid19 pandemic, the following changes to our terms and conditions have been implemented.
Regrettably, we are now unable to service your room during your stay. If you require fresh linen and towels, please contact reception who will supply you with a “Self-Service Bag”.
Should you wish your room to be fully serviced; this will necessitate a change of room. You would be responsible for moving your belongings.
Social distancing measures are in place which has reduced the amount of covers we can provide in our bistro and restaurant; therefore, please pre-book a tables for meal in advance.
Board Basis – Your booking is made on one of three options
Your credit card will be used to guarantee your booking. NO CHARGE will be made from your card unless you have made an advance purchase booking. A credit check may be made on the card to ensure that it is valid. Full payment will be taken on your arrival. A different (valid) method of payment may be used to pay on arrival if you wish. All rates are in British Pounds (GBP).
If a booking is not an advance purchase rate and you require to cancel a reservation, it must be before 12 noon of the day prior to arrival; an administration fee may be charged. Any cancellation after this time will be subject to cancellation fee equal to the first nights’ accommodation. A cancellation number will be given. 'No Shows' will be charged at full cost of booking.
T & C’s for Advanced Purchase Room Only, Advanced Purchase Bed & Breakfast (APDBB) – This is a no change, no cancellation booking. You cannot alter or cancel this booking after you have confirmed it and payment is taken.
Maximum number of guests in each room is listed on each room type. It is not possible to add extra beds to any of these room types. Any guest trying to accommodate more than maximum number of guests will be refused access to the room.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel as per Scottish Government legislation. If your room smells of smoke after your departure, you will be charged a minimum of a £150.00 for deep cleaning the room. This will be charged to your credit card. By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are agreeing to this specific policy.
Check in/Check Out
Check in time is 2:00 pm - check out is 11:00 am.
Late check in/late checkout may be possible subject to availability.
A fee of £10.00 per room per hour is chargeable; please contact the hotel directly to arrange.
If you have any physical or other considerations that may affect your stay please advise us when booking to ensure that we can offer accommodation most suited to your needs. We regret to advise that the hotel does not have a lift; however we do have 19 ground floor bedrooms.
Any requests noted in the comments section are considered special requests. These special requests are not guaranteed and will be honoured depending on availability at check-in.
Well behaved pets are allowed in our bedrooms provided we have been pre notified as we have a pet limit within the hotel. There is a charge of £10.00 per pet per night and we have a 2 pet per room limit. No pets are allowed in public areas with the exception of the hotel foyer/reception.
Working guide dogs/hearing dogs are not subject to these restrictions and charges are waived.
